Founded by Rhonda Kallman after 25 years in the craft beer industry, the Boston Harbor Distillery is a go-to destination for whiskey and beer enthusiasts alike. Offering a wide array of whiskeys along with a selection of small batch rums, liqueurs and distilled Sam Adams beer, the Boston Harbor Distillery has something for everyone.

The distillery is in a historic mill building on an commerical section of Boston Harbor waterfront. The building was constructed in 1859 with post and beams, high ceilings, and an abundance of windows, giving the space an industrial yet warm and welcoming aesthetic designed to embrace the character of New England.

Led by world-renowned whiskey expert Dr. James Swan, the team at Boston Harbor Distillery has created several award-winning spirits. Distillery tours and tastings are run daily, offering patrons a close look at how the spirits are made and what sets them apart from others. Whether you’re a novice or an expert when it comes to tasting, you’re sure to learn a thing or two from a visit to BHD.

Be sure to plan ahead as the facility is only open to the public on Saturdays and Sundays from 1pm to 6pm. The distillery is located a little outside of downtown. For most convenient transportations we recommend driving or using your preferred ride share app.
