The South End neighborhood has always shown a sense of friendship and
support for one another. It is common to find us shoveling together during
winter months, raking leaves in the autumn and enjoying a delicious glass of
lemonade or iced tea in the warmer months. Our boutique bed and breakfast is no
different from our local neighbors and we always try to help where we can.
Other businesses in the neighborhood are taking “help thy neighbor”
to a whole new level: several restaurants and local chefs are partnering up
with the Susan G. Komen Foundation to host Chefs for the Cure!
Foodies, survivors and supporters can join one another on Thursday, April 11
at 7 PM (6 PM for VIP’s) at the Residences at the W Boston for an exciting
tasting style event. Chefs from Gaslight Brasserie, Cinquecento, And Meyers and
Chang will join others from Citizen Public House, 606 Congress, Taranta and
more. Representatives from Johnson and Whales University will also be in attendance.
Tickets are $125. This includes valet parking and one complimentary entry to
the raffle. VIP tickets are $175 and include a bonus cooking demonstration with
Jose Duarte at 6 PM. More information about the event as well as purchasing
tickets can be found online.
After you have tasted food from some of the best chefs in the city, come
back to the stylish South End for even more fun! Have a drink and listen to
live music at the Beehive or open a bottle of wine on our roof deck and enjoy
the view (and the hot tub)!
