Our historic bed and breakfast is located in the super trendy and hip South
End neighborhood. We are so lucky to be a stone’s throw away from numerous
restaurants that rival any in the city. Whether is seafood at Barbara Lynch’s
B&G Oysters, Latin tapas at Ken Origner’s Toro or sticky buns at Joanne
Chang’s Flour Bakery, there is no shortage of delicious food within a 10 minute
walk from our door.
The South End food scene is very lucky to welcome a new kid to the neighborhood!
Boston Chops describe themselves as an urban steak bistro. Forget the stuffy,
corporate atmosphere of other area steakhouses! This restaurant features
soaring 20 foot ceilings, an awesome bar made from reclaimed wood and a 2,000
bottle wine room! Foodies and more traditional diners alike can find delicious
menu options to tempt their palates. For the more daring patron, sample a bite
of beef tongue, herb marinated heart or chicken fried sweetbreads. If you are
searching for a classic dining experience, the 14 oz prime rib eye accompanied
by duck fat fingerlings and brussel sprouts au canard might be more tempting.
Everyone can enjoy a tower of onion rings and a poutine style twice backed
potato loaded with gravy and cheese curds. If you still have room after all
that delicious meat and carb goodness, then dessert is also a course not to be
missed! The sticky toffee pudding and warm chocolate cake can satisfy any sweet
tooth. The team behind Deauxave and dBar have done it again. Head in for a sexy
night of great food and awesome atmosphere.
After your night of gluttony and indulgence, the 10 minute walk back to your
favorite bed and breakfast will be a most welcomed adventure! Spoil yourself
once more with more wine on our roof in the hot tub!
